I have been using 48hrbooks.com for quite some time, and they offer excellent service and book printing options. I came across a link on them and thought to share it. If you want to test your story out on a few readers, but you don't want to get carried away with all the extra expenses, they offer a great way to go. Just convert your story from a word.doc to a .pdf format and send it to their printers. It's the best way to get a copy of your book that people would be willing to read. I wish I knew about this my first go around.
Enjoy this great blog for more details....

2011 The Year of the Big Changes in Publishing
Publishers weekly link
I have got to say, I enjoy my own billboard above where I caught this link. If you want a good feel of what is going on this year, then read this from Publishers Weekly. Even renegade writer JA Konrath gets mentioned from the noise he is making on this hot topic. Traditional Publishers don't seem to be moving fast enough though, but I am sure they will figure it out before it is too late. Enjoy

Decadent Publishing Acquires Shayne Leighton's Debut Vampire Fantasy Novel
Now, this is a perfect example of how much how work goes on behind getting a publishing deal. I have to say, it is great news for independents, but seriously, you have to be in the movies before you get a book deal. Good luck Decadent, the world cerainly needs more vampire books and movies.
